SAE Chapter Activities

• The first SAE Student Chapter in Eastern Region was constituted during 2007 at MCKVIE and thereafter all first year students of AUE & ME department took the membership of the Club to participate in some of the major events like BAJA, SUPRA, Effi-cycle, AWIM, GOKART etc. which are well known National level design, manufacturing and racing vehicles. 
• Mr. Sankar Chakrabarty is the Faculty In-Charge of this Club since inception. MCKVIE SAE Student Chapter obtained many accolades since 2007. Our goal is to encourage aspirant engineers to put their hands in making competitive vehicles and enjoying the thrill of winning the race. 
• Every year our students participate in SAE BAJA and SUPRA national level competition and receive appreciation for their deep involvement.
