MCKV Institute of Engineering offers students the highest quality of education, and gives them access to the most modern academic resources. However, the institute understands that for an all-round development, students need to engage themselves in various extracurricular activities. Thus, the college provides them with various avenues to nurture their non-academic talents.
The institute has been progressed through 25 illustrated years of glory wherein a good number of programmes were hosted here. To have a glimpse of the same, click here.
For those that love dancing, for example, opportunities come through Freshers’ Welcome (Balaka), Farewell (Ascent), and of course, the Annual Cultural Fest (Utopia).
For students that are interested in games and sports, the college encourages them to hone their talents in cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, and carrom.
MCKV Institute of Engineering understands the importance of physical fitness. Thus, it gives students access to a modern and suitably equipped gym. A large number of students exercise there regularly.Â
Apart from regularly organising the Freshers’ and Farewell programmes, and the Annual Cultural Fest, the college also celebrates Rabindra Jayanti, Teachers’ Day, Viswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day, and Republic Day. Every year, just before the Annual Cultural Fest, the college hosts a Tech Fest (Pragati), in which a number of students from various other colleges participate enthusiastically. Provided below are some photographs from various events hosted and celebrated by the College.
