Electric Vehicle Laboratory
Electric vehicles at present are being considered the most promising solution to mitigate the increase in carbon footprints resulting from vehicular emissions and to preserve fossil fuel reserves on earth. Govt of India has instituted various enabling policies to promote the implementation of EVs in the country. But the industry is facing a shortage of manpower skilled in this upcoming technology. EV skills are also required to mitigate high unemployment rates. Shortage of such skills is one of the factors driving higher unemployment. To cater to that need, the Automobile Engineering Department of MCKV Institute of Engineering has taken the initiative to set up a State-of-the-art Electric Vehicle Laboratory & Learning Facility in collaboration with Logiczap NextGen Technologies (one of the fastest-growing companies in the field of EV training & skill development), on the campus premises of MCKVIE. With the goal of creating a skilled workforce to meet the demand of the EV industry and provide sustainable employment, the new and immersive platform & innovative training in the Electric Vehicles laboratory aims to empower EV enthusiasts in the country to embrace more sustainable and responsible practical learning experiences. Â
MCKV Institute of Engineering always remained the pioneer to collaborate with industries to develop laboratories like MCKV-EICHER center for Automobile Technology, MCKVIE-BOSCH JCC, etc. The present Electric Vehicle Laboratory with Logiczap NextGen Technologies is necessarily one step forward in this legacy to provide skilled and employable engineers in the rapidly evolving domain of electric vehicles.Â
The objective of the present electric vehicle LAB to focus on performing hands-on practical training, skill development, EV Internship, research and development to support a wide array of EV technology. The learning facility is dedicated to accelerating the pace of research and development in EV Design & Development, motor & motor control, EV battery and battery management systems, chargers, embedded systems & IoT, Automotive Electronics to creating opportunity by improving the skill of learners. Also, both organization working together to provide sustainable employment to all deserving candidates.
This EV LAB & Learning Facility is dedicated to emerging state of the art technologies for EV Technologies. The Equipment and other related facilities available in this laboratory are :
- Latest two-wheeler EV Work Bench
- Wiring Harness Test Setup

Upon getting hands-on training from the Electric Vehicle laboratory the employability of candidates will be improved. Some learners have already got the opportunity to work in core EV Companies so far, while some got the opportunity to work in Logiczap-sponsored research areas in EV Domain. Learners are also encouraged to start their own business in EV Domain after completion of hands-on training & internship. If any innovative start-up idea is proposed by the learners, Logiczap will provide necessary entrepreneurship support.
All the candidates taking part in any of the EV Training & Internship programs of Logiczap will get an EV Internship opportunity. Also, selected candidates will get a chance to conduct research activities in EV Lab.Â
