As per the recommendation of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), every accredited institute should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality sustenance measure. It is worth mentioning here that the quality enhancement is a continuous process and that can only be achieved if there is a permanent cell; the whole objective of which is to frame the policies for better attainment of quality as well as to monitor and control the quality of the institute so that it is sustained for long. In this regard, IQAC may become a vital part of the institute’s quality assurance system and may work towards ensuring quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious and consistent improvement in the overall performance of its mother institute. To achieve this long term vision, MCKV Institute of Engineering had established its IQAC on 28th September, 2016.
